One bedroom studio available within the Lismore Community Flood Village.
The studio has air conditioning, beds, fans, washing machine, dryer, table and chairs. Kitchen utensils and linen will need to be supplied.
Power and water are included in the weekly charge
There is public transport readily available, with a bus attending the village hourly. For people with cars, there is a car park near the units which residents use to park their car.
These studios are available for students that were living in the Northern Rivers area during the 2022 flood. The areas accepted are Grafton, Richmond, Kyogle, Lismore, Ballina and Tweed. Accommodation is available immediately, with an end date being December 2026.
The weekly cost is up capped at $270 per week. The studios are charged according to the NSW Social Housing policy, which is approx 25% of a persons income, and this will be discussed at the initial interview. Link below for the NSW Rent policy
