Description
A fully-furnished, medium-sized, carpeted bedroom is available for rent. The room has a single bed, wardrobe, bedside table, student desk, chair and desk lamp and a large window with roll-down blinds for privacy. Bed linen, bed pillows, doona, bath towels and beach towels are supplied for free.
Internet is free and electricity, gas, water rates, daily breakfast and weekly professional cleaning is included in the rent.
The house is spacious with a large garden and is very private with security gates. The house is in a quiet location with views overlooking a canal. There is a large lounge room, dining room, sun-room, deck and boat ramp for students to use. There is a large bathroom with a shower, a separate toilet, and a laundry with a large washing machine. The kitchen is fully-equipped with crockery, glasses, cutlery, cooking utensils, gas stove, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, rice cooker, wok, saucepans and frying pans for students to use. There is also a pantry for groceries and a large family refrigerator and freezer to store food and drinks.
The house is approximately 2km from SCU Gold Coast campus and airport, Coolangatta/Kirra shops, cafes and beaches. The bus stop to the university is near to the house or it is an easy bicycle ride or short distance to drive to the campus. There is a bicycle at the house for the tenant to ride to university and lcoal shopping centres. The nearest local shops are 500 metres from the house with a supermarket, bakery, take-away pizza and Indian food, chemist, doctor, dentist and pathologist.
The existing residents include the female owner and three female SCU international students.
