5-bedroom shared house, Gordon Street

We are looking for one homestay guest, to reside in a fully furnished sunny bedroom in a large, clean and modern townhouse in Edgewater Estate, Maribyrnong near Highpoint Shopping Centre and Maribyrnong River (Room size: 3. 5m x 3. 3m, plus external balcony).

A friendly and cheerful young couple (doctorate student/university staff) currently resides in the house, with two other homestay guests. Excellent location and close to transport. Less than one minute walk to tram and bus stops, three minutes walk to Aldi Maribyrnong, ten minutes walk to Highpoint Shopping Centre, and close to parklands and the Maribyrnong River. Approx. 30 minutes by public transport or bicycle to Melbourne CBD. Ready access to bicycle paths for cyclists.

We offer two options for homestay: room only (without meals), and room plus meals.

The room only rate is $830 per month ($191 per week).

The room plus meals rate is $1350 per month ($320 per week). It includes 16 meals per week (breakfast and dinner on weekdays; breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekends). We are very fussy chefs and can cook many different kinds of delicious Chinese and European cuisines (see photo).

Both options include a fully furnished bedroom, ALL UTILITY BILLS (elec/gas/water), unlimited Wifi internet, unlimited black and white laser printing (single/double sided), sundries (eg. Bin liners, toilet paper, paper towel), and shared facilities (kitchen, bathroom, laundry etc -- see below).

Bedroom furnishings include single bed, all bedding, desk, chair, wardrobe, and reverse cycle air conditioning.

Shared facilities include fully equipped kitchen, large fridge, front-loading washing machine, condenser dryer,
dining area, 46" TV, DVD player and sofa in lounge. Our piano is also available for practising by mutual consent.

Convenient shopping nearby in Aldi Maribyrnong (3 minute walk) and Highpoint Shopping Centre (10 minute walk).

Plenty of parks and running trails nearby for jogging enthusiasts and cyclists. Maribyrnong swimming pool and Crunch gym are close by.
